An iconic British landmark in the heart of North Yorkshire. In 2014, we partnered with Bolton Abbey to design, build, and maintain their website, which features event showcases and ticket ordering capabilities, ensuring its ongoing modernity and relevance.
Bolton Abbey is a 12th-century priory located along the River Wharfe, in the heart of the unspoiled locations in Yorkshire. Founded by monks in 1154, the priory was closed in 1539 during King Henry VIII’s dissolution of the monasteries.
Today, Bolton Abbey is a popular spot for family hikes. Visitors can explore the priory ruins, walk into the Strid Woods, and see the iconic stepping stones. The Bolton Abbey Estate hosts events throughout the year, drawing large audiences. Nearby, you can enjoy stays at Devonshire hotels and dine at Devonshire restaurants, enhancing your visit to this historic and picturesque area. Bolton Abbey approached us to quote for a new website design and build back in 2014. Our graphic design team built design concepts that were approved by Bolton Abbey and we were able to begin the website build.
Their new website was built to showcase the events they host throughout the year. We built a dedicated events page within the website, where customers could order tickets for events.
Following the launch of the website, we have continued to host and maintain the website on their behalf. We have also overseen many visual facelifts, ensuring the website is modern and up-to-date.
